Seventeen-year-old Tulip Burns is already unraveling. She is grieving her father, drifting from her mother, and watching her friendships fracture when something impossible happens: her childhood friend Tony triggers an awakening and Tulip learns that she is Persephone, the reincarnated goddess of Spring.

As memories from another life bloom and the pull she feels towards Tony intensifies, Tulip is torn between two worlds. One calls her to a power and love that transcend time; the other asks her to stay human, imperfect, and free.
